The late Shigeru Nishimura, our founder, donated to the SOKEIZAI Center in the hope of continuing the evolution of the industry and the professional development of engineers.
The Shigeru Nishimura Award was instituted in 1999 with this donation.

SOKEIZAI Center Rules for the Shigeru Nishimura Award

The Shigeru Nishimura Award shall be established based upon the donation by the late Shigeru Nishimura. Recipients of Shigeru Nishimura Award: The SOKEIZAI Center annually recognizes excellent employees in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Rules on the SOKEIZAI Industry Employee Award. Among those recognized for the Award, employees in the field of casting shall be selected; then, the Board of Directors shall select one person deemed appropriate based on the nomination by the Awards Committee and present a testimonial as well as a gift of money.
